My name is Ergomama. I assume, if anyone bothers to read this they know WHY I chose that as my internet nickname....or one of them. My husband is Big Guy, and I love him. We have been married for 11 years (we were babies when we got married) and have gone on to fill our tiny house with 4 beautiful children, Buddy, 9, Kiddo, 6, Sissy, 3, and Bug, 16 months.
Four kids sounds crazy to you does it? Well, here I can top that. I homeschool the older 2, (the younger to will be too when they are old enough) It is HARD work. However, it is the best work I can imagine doing with my life. I said growing up I wanted to be a teacher, and the Lord has provided me a way to do just that. This year I am a 4th grade teacher, and a 1st grade teacher....and I love it....most days. Then there are the days I watch the moms on my street take their kids to the bus stop and envy them....they can clean house and go shopping ALONE.....sigh, that would be a dream. So would a cup of coffee with a friend without seeing who is killing who, or what Bug has gotten into now. Still, most days I wouldn't trade homeschooling for any of that. I get to watch them grasp new concepts, like reading, or algebra, and it like when they walked for the first time.....
Well, that is me, in a nutshell. Now, the creatures are fighting, and my house is a wreck (when you spend all your time teaching, it is hard to keep your house as clean as you would like) So, off I go to be the responsible parent and adult that I am......(you can stop laughing now) :)
